Pit Blocks 3D is OUT NOW!

Hi everyone, The Thunder is now in full rumble! Pit Blocks 3D has finally been released and we are oh, so proud, of this moment! We poured as much as love (and some surprises) into this game as we could!

What began as a mini-game in a side project eventually took on a life of its own in this 3D block stacker. Today, we’re proud to present to you our ‘ReMixed’ take on the classic Tetris model!

Put your skills to the test in this new puzzler! Keep your blocks from piling up by strategically placing them across 5 backgrounds complete with individual storylines. With special interactive stages and creatures, and classic tile-based gameplay, Pit Blocks 3D will keep you coming back for more.

We want to thank you for your dedication and support, and we hope you enjoy Pit Blocks 3D!

Launch is tomorrow! Less than 1 day left!

Hi everyone, The Thunder is rumbling as we are readying our cubes, blocks, and bricks to release Pit Blocks 3D in less than 24 hours!!

How unbelievably exciting! When this project started, I never thought we’d be taking it this far. Pit Blocks 3D was meant to be a simple introduction for our company, SRM Games, into the world of gaming. However, as time went by and we tested our resolve, we thought it would be much nicer to spice the game up a little by introducing a story, different and unique environments, unlockables, a plethora of sound tracks, and a bevy of achievements, along with neat cube effects.

Make sure you check out the Ice Cave cube effect, it’s pretty cool! You just might like it. Don’t worry, it won’t give you frostbite! 🙂

Finally the game is ready and will release tomorrow.

Yes, I know, it was postponed by 1 week due to QA checks, but it was well worth it! Thanks to a great team of individuals, Pit Blocks 3D is a nice and well polished game. It’s our little jewel!

Expect to hear from us soon!

See you in our next post and thank you for tuning in!

Four weeks to launch!

Hi everyone, The Thunder is back with an expected announcement!

That’s right, 4 weeks to go, and PB3D will be available for download!

I find that very exciting! Let’s not forget… 4 weeks is less than 1 month! Roughly, 1 month is 4.36 weeks, so I can safely say “The game will release in less than a month!”

How funky is that! Sept. 20 is just around the corner!

I know this wasn’t exactly a development update, but I had to share this feeling with you all! 🙂

Expect to hear from us soon!

See you in our next post and thank you for tuning in!

Pit Blocks 3D: Late-night Update

Hi everyone, ThunderSoul here with a terrific update on Pit Blocks 3D development!

Yes, I know, it’s been more than 2 months since my last update, but I have a good reason for it. I have been working tirelessly, day and night with our PR & Marketing team to iron out and polish Pit Blocks 3D’s game play and UI layout.

I believe that the controller has been well polished and the UI has been improved. We also made many modifications to the rendering of the game, which has initially shown improvement of 97% in terms of GPU calls! That is insanely efficient!

The great news I have tonight is that last week we deemed the standard edition of the game complete. That means that the game is beta-ready for Itch.IO and Humble Bundle and our QA team is working on publishing bugs so that development can squash them good, real good.

Our main focus now is on Steam and Gamejolt. We want to bring you achievements/trophies for these two platforms, as well as stats and leaderboards where available.

Expect to hear from us soon!

See you in our next post and thank you for tuning in!

SRM Games: Website

ThunderSoul here again! Whoa, it’s been over a month since my last post!

We have been busy, very busy little bees. We have a new website design that you can check out here! We also migrated our servers, which took a little bit of a “getting-used-to” in order to have it up and running smoothly.

On the new website, you’ll be able to subscribe to our newsletter. Please do so in order to receive updates on our progress and our upcoming titles!

There is also a Contact Us form that you can use to message us directly. We’ll get back to you as soon as we receive your message. Quickness and efficiency are two attributes we pride ourselves on, so you can be sure we won’t disappoint!

We have outlined a roadmap for SRM Games in our Future Projects page. Please check it out to find out what games we have in mind for future development.

Well, that’s it for now! We are focusing all our efforts on Pit Blocks 3D. Don’t forget to check out the Games page to check out the platforms PB3D will be released on!

Pit Blocks 3D: Controller Update

Hiya! This is ThunderSoul with yet another Controller update!

So the good news is I finally got the Xbox Controller from Amazon. I’m using the AmazonBasics controller and I’m happy to report it is working just fine!

I now have two controllers I’m testing with. The F310 and the AmazonBasics.

I wanted to make sure that Pit Blocks 3D can handle both types of controllers where the DPad and the Left Stick are swapped.

And guess what? They work just fine!

I’m looking forward to making the UI a little better to, so that’s what I’ll be focusing on next!

See you in my next blog!

Pit Blocks 3D: Bug update

Heya all, ThunderSoul here!

We’ve been working on some of the bugs we found while testing the game, and I am happy to say that I have squashed all the bugs that we found so far.

I have also heard that my order of the Xbox One controller is shipping out soon, so I should be receiving it maybe next week. That means I’ll be able to test Pit Blocks 3D with a console controller rather than a PC controller.

I’ll let you all know how that goes! Thank you for reading!

See you in my next blog!
